Your pet’s health changes gradually over time. Our wellness visits are designed to track those changes carefully, helping us identify patterns early and guide your pet through each stage of life with custom-tailored foresight.
Not every concern can wait for a routine appointment. During business hours, we evaluate sudden illnesses and injuries with focused attention, helping you understand what’s happening and what should happen next.
Dental disease often develops quietly but affects daily comfort in significant ways. Through professional cleanings and surgical treatment when necessary, we restore oral health so pets can eat, play, and live without hidden periodontal problems.
When surgery is the right course of action, preparation and precision matter. From common procedures to more complex soft tissue operations, we approach each case with individualized planning and attentive recovery oversight.
Good medicine depends on accurate information. Our in-house laboratory, digital radiology, and ultrasound allow us to evaluate internal concerns thoroughly and make decisions based on clear clinical findings.
We tailor diagnostic workups and treatment strategies to the individual patient, balancing medical intervention with quality-of-life considerations at every step. We also partner with board-certified oncologists when needed, so your pet can receive the best possible care for their particular condition.
End-of-life decisions deserve time, compassion, and steady guidance. We help families navigate this stage with dignity, focusing on comfort and honoring the bond that has defined a lifetime together.

Thoughtful medicine, lasting relationships, and a commitment to our community guide everything we do at White Oaks Veterinary Hospital.
For generations, families throughout Manheim and the surrounding communities have trusted White Oaks Veterinary Hospital with the health of their pets. That history is something we’re proud of — and something we work every day to continue earning.
Since 1995, the practice has been owned and led by a husband-and-wife veterinary team, Drs. Ron and Lauren Lane. Their shared leadership has helped maintain the hospital’s commitment to thoughtful medicine, consistent standards of care, and strong relationships with the families we serve.
Dr. Lauren Lane is one of only a small number of veterinarians in Pennsylvania who is board-certified through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in Canine and Feline Practice. This distinction requires advanced case documentation, rigorous examination, and recertification every ten years — a reflection of continued dedication to clinical excellence.
