Since 1952, we’ve proudly served Manheim, PA, celebrating the human-animal bond with kindness, respect, and honesty.
White Oaks Veterinary Hospital has been part of the Manheim community for more than seventy years. Since 1952, families throughout Lancaster and Lebanon counties have brought their dogs and cats here for reliable, experienced care.
The practice has been owned by a husband-and-wife veterinary team since 1995, and many members of our staff have spent years — even decades — caring for pets within these walls.
Our approach is built on thoughtful medicine and lasting relationships with the families we serve. We take time to evaluate each patient carefully, explain options clearly, and recommend care that supports long-term health. From preventive visits to more complex procedures, our focus remains the same: providing skilled care with professionalism and genuine compassion.
Preventive exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and routine health screenings designed to detect concerns early and support lifelong wellness.
Soft tissue surgery and professional dental care performed with individualized anesthesia protocols and careful patient monitoring.
Same-day care for pets experiencing sudden illness or minor injuries. If your pet isn’t feeling well, our team can evaluate the problem and begin treatment quickly.
Hi, I am Dr. Lauren Lane. I grew up in Kennett Square, PA where my love of horses developed into a successful show jumping career and where my love of animals and their care took root. I am one of 11 veterinarians statewide who is boarded in the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in the Canine/Feline Specialty. I am required to recertify every ten years. My interests are in internal medicine, oncology and emergency and critical care. I love the diagnostic challenges that I face every day. My husband and I share our home with two golden retrievers, (the most awesome breed ever) and I have started doing agility with them. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, running the dogs, cycling and spending time with my family.
Hello, I am Dr. Ron Lane. I was born and raised in central/western PA where my experiences in 4-H and on my grandparents’ small farm developed into my desire to become a veterinarian. I received my B.S. in Animal Science from Penn State and my M.S. from Utah State in Animal Science. Following a few years teaching in western Kansas and a couple years of personal improvement, I was accepted to and ultimately graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. After completing a large animal surgery and medicine internship, I earned an M.B.A., both at Kansas State University. My interests are in general surgery and medicine and dentistry.
