Hi, I am Dr. Lauren Lane. I grew up in Kennett Square, PA where my love of horses developed into a successful show jumping career and where my love of animals and their care took root. I am one of 11 veterinarians statewide who is boarded in the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in the Canine/Feline Specialty. I am required to recertify every ten years. My interests are in internal medicine, oncology and emergency and critical care. I love the diagnostic challenges that I face every day. My husband and I share our home with two golden retrievers, (the most awesome breed ever) and I have started doing agility with them. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, running the dogs, cycling and spending time with my family.

Hello, I am Dr. Ron Lane. I was born and raised in central/western PA where my experiences in 4-H and on my grandparents’ small farm developed into my desire to become a veterinarian. I received my B.S. in Animal Science from Penn State and my M.S. from Utah State in Animal Science. Following a few years teaching in western Kansas and a couple years of personal improvement, I was accepted to and ultimately graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. After completing a large animal surgery and medicine internship, I earned an M.B.A., both at Kansas State University. My interests are in general surgery and medicine and dentistry.

Hi, my name is Kristen, and I’ve been with White Oaks Veterinary Hospital since 1997. I began my career here as a receptionist, which gave me a strong foundation in client service and a firsthand understanding of how every role contributes to the success of the practice. As Practice Manager, I get the best of both worlds. I enjoy the business and operational side of the practice while also working closely with our team and clients. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is the long-standing relationships I’ve built with many of our clients and being part of their pets’ lives through every stage. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the beach with my husband and family.

My name is Jocelyn and I’m a certified veterinary technician. I’ve been a part of the White Oaks team since August of 2019. I attended YTI Career Institute for my associate degree in veterinary technology, graduated in July of 2018 and passed my VTNE in November of the same year. I have been working with animals for years and am so honored to be able to work as a CVT and dedicate my life to helping them in every way I can. I also foster kittens through the Lancaster SPCA, which is so incredible and rewarding. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting and spending time with my partner, our cats Wrigley, Griffin and Fisher, and our dogs, Otter Bucket and Cathy.

Hi, my name is Brittany. I graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at the Willow Street campus of LCCTC (Lancaster County Career and Technology Center) in August 2010. I have been working at White Oaks Veterinary Hospital since December 2010. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. My favorite part about my job is that I learn something new every day. I share a home with my husband, my two sons, my dog, “Floyd”, and my cat, “Doug”.

Hi, I’m Emily! I graduated from the LCCTC Veterinary Assistant program in 2011 and have worked in both emergency and small animal private practice. I joined the WOVH team in 2017. When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my husband, our two kids, and our fur crew—dogs Lily, Silas, and Tank, and cats Kindle and Togi. We enjoy movies, reading, swimming, and being outside as much as possible. I look forward to meeting you and your pets here at White Oaks.

Hi my name is Kayla. I graduated from the LCCTC Veterinary Assistant program in 2017. I have been working at White Oaks since September 2021. I have always had a big place in my heart for animals. In my free time my husband, daughter, and I love being outdoors at our cabin fishing, hunting and hiking. We also have a crazy German Shorthaired Pointer, Aspen, that keeps us on our toes.

Hi, my name is Laikyn! I graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in May of 2021. I worked at a small animal practice all throughout school and fell in love with caring for animals! I began working at White Oaks in November of 2022. I like to spend my spare time with my husband, our daughter, our pitbill, Clove, and our 3-legged cat, Moe. I also enjoy volunteering at my church. I am so blessed to be working in this field, and I can’t wait to help care for your pets!

Hi, my name is Amber! I’ve been in veterinary medicine since 2019 and graduated from the Vet Assistant Program at the Willow Street Campus of LCTC (Lancaster Career and Technology Center) also in 2019. I’ve been surrounded by animals since birth both big and small and I’m grateful for the ability to make a difference not just for their lives, but their fur-parents too! I began working at White Oaks in April of 2024. I have four cats (Corker, Yennefer, Rukia, and Sparrow) that keep me on my toes.

Hi there! I graduated from the LCCTC Veterinary Assistant program in 2020 & continued on to the adult Veterinary Technology program & graduated in 2024 with an Associates Degree. I grew up with many dogs, horses, Boer goats, pocket pets & fish. I am currently working towards getting my CVT title by taking the VTNE. I have0 been working for WOVH since 2025 & thoroughly enjoy the connections we build with our clients. I enjoy spending time with my Finnish Lapphund Ailo, my Dachshund mix Moss & Toy Poodle Havarti, as well as my abundance of fish tanks & goats! I love spending time with my husband Austin, but the dogs definitely rule the house.

I have been a Veterinary Technician for almost 12 years. I am married with 3 children. We have 2 young kitties, both rescued. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, playing games, cooking, gardening, music, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, reading, writing, watching Ravens football, and the beach (especially the beach!). Working with animals has been my calling since I was 15 years old (when I vowed to my mother that I would someday be a dolphin trainer). No jobs at Sea World yet….but I still love this job more than anything, and I cannot imagine doing anything else!
